Después de graduarse como Diseñador Industrial en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba en 1998 se transfiere a Milán\, donde obtiene el Master in Design de\nla Domus Academy e inicia a trabajar junto a Alberto Meda y Paolo Rizzatto.\nEn el 2004 abre su propio estudio en Milán y desde entonces colabora con importantes empresas como Artemide\, Driade\, Danese\, Landscape Forms\, Lensvelt\, Luceplan\, Olivetti y Sector\nentre otras. En el 2014 abre un taller experimental en Argentina y desde entonces divide su tiempo entre Salta y Milán.\nGomez Paz es guiado por la propia curiosidad\, el conocimiento de materiales y tecnologías y un proceso creativo decididamente experimental\, manual y heurístico.\nSu trabajo ha recibido importantes reconocimientos internacionales\, entre los cuales se destacan el Red Dot Award “Best of the best” 2016 por la lampara Mesh\, el Good Design Award 2010 y el Red Dot Award 2010; en el 2007 ha recibido junto a Alberto Meda el primer premio del Index Award por la Solar Bottle\, que en el 2008 ha sido seleccionada por el MOMA para la Study Collection.\nHa recibido el Premio dei Premi all’Innovazione del Presidente de la Republica Italiana Giorgio Napolitano por la lámpara Hope y también el prestigioso Compasso d’Oro 2011.\nDesarrolla su actividad en los ámbitos de la investigación y la didáctica\, es visiting professor en la Domus Academy y el Politécnico de Milán y ha dado conferencias en Italia y en el\nexterior.\nSu trabajo ha sido exhibido en diversos eventos internacionales y publicado por las editoriales más importantes del sector.\nHa escrito junto a Paolo Rizzatto el libro Hope “El Diseño en un objeto” publicado por Editoriale Lotus en el 2011.
